Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to join our Revenue Analytics team. You will lead the development of scalable data products for revenue teams, translating ambiguous business problems into robust data solutions and shaping the semantic foundations for AI across the Revenue organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI, data engineering, or related technical analytics role.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, data modeling, metrics design, data quality, documentation, and modern analytics practices.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools and cloud data warehouses (Sigma/Looker/Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Experience applying AI tools within analytics workflows and establishing semantic layers, metadata, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact data product initiatives from definition to rollout and adoption.
• Advance AI initiatives within the Revenue data ecosystem and establish semantic, metadata, and quality foundations.
• Design and build durable, well-tested data products powering revenue operations and executive reporting.
• Set technical direction for Revenue's data layer including dbt models, metrics, and governance.
• Identify opportunities to automate and scale Revenue Analytics and data enablement.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and cross-functional partners.
