Job summary

Topgolf is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead the revenue accounting function and ensure accurate, timely financial statements. This role manages three Accountants, reviews work for ASC 606 compliance, and partners with the Technical Accounting team and external auditors.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in accounting with leadership and strong GAAP knowledge, plus experience with SAP. CPA is preferred and cross-functional collaboration is key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management is required.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• 4+ years of accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• 3+ years applying ASC 606 in practice.
• 3+ years auditing experience in public accounting preferred.
• GAAP knowledge; ability to research accounting issues.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper revenue recognition for contracts, Swing Suite revenue, deferred revenue for gift cards, game play, and memberships.
• Lead and coach a small team of Accountants.
• Analyze contracts for ASC 606 compliance and review monthly journal entries.
• Manage accruals for marketing and media-related expenses.
• Collaborate with Topgolf Media and other finance teams on processes.
