Job summary

Topgolf is seeking an exceptional VP, Accounting to design and run the global accounting function, with responsibility for financial reporting, controls, and technical accounting. You will lead a team of 50+ professionals across multiple locations, including international venues, and partner with the CFO on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field; active CPA required.
• Significant leadership of a complex accounting organization with strong US GAAP foundation.
• Experience redesigning processes or organizational structure to increase efficiency and impact.
• Experience using technology and automation to improve accounting operations.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels while solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting operating model — structure, processes, systems, offshore resources and delivery.
• Oversee close, consolidation and financial reporting to leadership and lenders; ensure accuracy and controls.
• Lead executive-level accounting discussions on complex matters (revenue, leases, business combinations, impairments)
• Manage audits and external relationships; support acquisitions and international expansion.
• Develop metrics for close, automation and working capital; drive improvements across the organization.
