Job summary

Topgolf is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead the revenue team, ensure accurate ASC 606 application, and collaborate with finance and operational groups. You will oversee partnership contracts, Swing Suite revenue, and deferred revenue, while guiding three Accountants and supporting external audits.

The role requires GAAP expertise, strong communication, and the ability to drive process improvements under SOX, with involvement across venues and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management is required.
• CPA (preferred) or equivalent certification is a plus.
• 4+ years in accounting with leadership responsibilities.
• 3+ years applying ASC 606.
• 3+ years auditing in public accounting (preferred).
• Experience with SAP and familiarity with retail environments a plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to research complex issues.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to train and coach staff and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper revenue recognition for contracts, Swing Suite, gift cards, game play, and memberships.
• Lead a team of three Accountants, providing training and coaching.
• Review contracts under ASC 606 and monthly journal entries.
• Oversee accruals for marketing expenses related to Partnership and media.
• Collaborate with Topgolf Media finance teams to manage related processes.
• Review monthly reconciliations and reports for accuracy.
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits with schedules and sample requests.
• Work with SOX controls and process improvements.
• Provide month-end close support for approximately 7 venues.
• Research technical accounting issues with Technical Accounting team.
