Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to strengthen revenue accounting operations and scale processes with the business. You will lead a small team, own revenue areas, and drive close activities compliant with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.

You will partner across Finance, Legal, Data/Engineering, and business units to implement requirements, improve policies, and automate accounting using AI tools. Strong leadership and a background in ASC 606 are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience including revenue accounting.
• Experience with accounting operations and financial systems.
• 2+ years of experience directly managing and developing an accounting team; outsourcing resources preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and SOX/internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close for assigned revenue accounting areas, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead close activities and provide variance analysis and management reporting.
• Maintain and enhance SOX controls and audit documentation.
• Manage and develop the team; set priorities and review deliverables.
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting, Finance, Legal, Data & Engineering, Sales Ops, A/R, A/P, and business owners.
• Drive process improvements and automation, including AI-assisted journal entries and reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies, work with Revenue Data to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Document processes for new products and maintain SOPs.
