Datadog seeks a Manager, Revenue Accounting to lead the revenue close for a high-growth, usage-based SaaS business. You will manage a team of revenue accountants, own ASC 606 conclusions, and partner cross-functionally to scale order-to-cash and billing processes.

You will design and operate SOX controls, collaborate with Legal, Deal Desk, and Customer Success on non-standard deals, and drive improvements across NetSuite and Salesforce while supporting annual audits and leadership reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years managing people.
• Public company and/or Big 4 experience preferred.
• Deep working knowledge of ASC 606 in usage-based / multi-element SaaS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to present to senior leadership.
• Ability to influence and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on, comfortable with ambiguity, and focused on process improvement.

Responsabilités

• Own the monthly revenue close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of revenue accountants.
• Own technical revenue conclusions under ASC 606 for complex arrangements.
• Own SOX controls across revenue and order-to-cash and drive remediation.
• Partner with Deal Desk, Legal, Sales Systems, Order Ops, and Customer Success on deals.
• Lead process improvements across the order-to-cash cycle with Financial Systems.
• Own revenue workstream for annual audits and quarterly reviews.
• Prepare and review internal revenue metrics and commentary for leadership.
• Lead ad-hoc analyses and projects as they arise.
