Job summary

Financial Additions, Inc. is assisting a large nonprofit in Dallas with a 2-4 month revenue accounting contract. The hybrid role focuses on revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and related reporting to support fundraising and compliance.

You will coordinate with HQ and regional staff, work with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Excel, and deliver timely reconciliations and analyses while ensuring PCI and internal control adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in GAAP, cash handling, and AR processes.
• Strong communication and ability to meet deadlines and compliance requirements.

• Manage revenue recognition and accounts receivable activities in accordance with GAAP, internal controls, and established procedures.
• Support HQ departments and regional staff with revenue, cash receipts, ACH, credit card, and accounts receivable processes.
• Coordinate revenue reporting and online fundraising transactions; manage relationships with third-party payment platforms.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, scorecards, reserve analyses, and related financial reporting.
• Complete monthly and quarterly reconciliations, financial analyses, and reporting within established deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with cash-handling procedures, PCI requirements, and financial security controls.
• Special projects, and other management reporting needs as requested.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
