DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a First Shift Returns Processor in Modesto, CA. The role involves opening and verifying returned merchandise, scanning items, and placing freight in proper locations.

The shift runs Tuesday to Friday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a pay of $20.20 per hour and eligibility for an attendance bonus. Ideal candidates have six months of warehouse experience and basic certification in material handling equipment.

• Material handling equipment certification, preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product using equipment if needed.
• Verify correct item and packaging for scanning.
• Ensure accurate processing of freight with the scanning system.
• Identify items requiring special processing or separation.
• Ensure scanned freight reaches the correct destination.
• Stack and tape pallets safely.
• Observe safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Role Purpose

Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations.

Key Accountabilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product. May require using powered equipment.
• Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
• Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
