Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a 1st shift Returns Processor to open and verify returned merchandise, scan items, and place freight in proper locations. This role requires standing for long periods and at least six months of warehouse experience with returns.

Shift is Tuesday through Friday, 5:30am–3:30pm, paying $19.75 per hour with an attendance bonus. Eligible benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, paid vacation and holidays, a 401(k) with company match, tuition

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
• Material handling equipment certification, preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opens and verifies returned merchandise.
• Scans merchandise and places freight in proper locations.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product.
• Verify proper item is in original packaging for scanning.
• Ensure accurate processing of all freight using the scanning system.
• Identify items requiring special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material).
• Ensure scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (slot, destroy, salvage).
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.

Role Purpose

Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations.

Key Accountabilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product. May require using powered equipment.
• Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
• Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
