Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Las Vegas is hiring a 2nd shift Returns Processor. The role opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans items, and places freight in proper locations. Shift: 4:00pm–2:00am; Pay: $19.75/hour plus shift differential.

Requires six months of warehouse experience and related certifications; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, vacation, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
• Material handling equipment certification, preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and verify returned merchandise.
• Scan merchandise and place freight in proper locations.
• Load, unload, stock, and stage product; operate powered equipment if required.
• Ensure proper processing of all freight and accurate scanning.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards and follow management directions.

Role Purpose:

Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product. May require using powered equipment.
• Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
• Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Material handling equipment certification, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred
