Qualifications

• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.

The core responsibilities of this role include: -The position is a combination of equipment operator (30-90% depending on production peak times) but will also require the employee to perform material handling and loading/unloading duties.

Position: Returns Processor

Shift: 1st Shift Mon - Fri 6am to 2:30pm

Pay: $18.45

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

- A minimum of 6 month’s experience operating stand‑up material handling equipment is required. This position requires safe and efficient operation of a stand‑up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck, and first preference will be given to applicants with this experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit‑down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.

Role Purpose

Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations.

Key Accountabilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product. May require using powered equipment.
• Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
• Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Material handling equipment certification, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred
