Job summary

BYLT in Texas seeks a Returns Supervisor to lead the day-to-day Returns department, ensuring received merchandise is inspected, documented, and processed accurately and efficiently. You will provide hands-on leadership to Returns Associates and Team Leads, coordinating daily workflows to maintain productivity, inventory accuracy, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field is a plus.
• 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, inventory, returns, or related operations.
• 1–2 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory management software; Avectous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the Returns department, including receiving, sorting, inspection, and processing of returned merchandise.
• Lead, train, coach, and support Returns Associates and Team Leads to ensure consistent performance and adherence to department procedures.
• Assign daily work and monitor workflow to ensure return volumes are processed accurately and within established turnaround times.
• Ensure returned merchandise is properly documented, inspected, categorized, and processed according to company procedures.
• Determine and communicate disposition of returned products, including restocking, recycling, or disposal, following guidelines.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure all returns are processed in the warehouse management and inventory systems.
