Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Back-End Clerk to support returns processing and receiving operations at our store. The role emphasizes accuracy in paperwork, inventory checks, and collaboration with store teams to ensure smooth product flow and proper disposition of returned items.

The candidate will handle RTV/RTM procedures, coordinate credits, and maintain organized backroom and return areas, while following safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in processing and filing merchandise receiving paperwork.
• 1 year experience with store inventory receiving and administration.
• 6 months warehouse data entry or bookkeeping experience.
• 6 months experience communicating with vendors or customers regarding returns, payments, or contract fulfillment.
• 6 months of retail experience handling returns.

Responsibilities

• Process customer returns in accordance with policy.
• Execute RTV and RTM processes, including documentation and shipment prep.
• Coordinate vendor credits and replacements as required.
• Sort and disposition returned merchandise based on condition and policy.
• Maintain records of all return transactions and related documentation.
• Assist with receiving shipments and verifying merchandise against documentation.
• Process receiving paperwork and update inventory systems accurately.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and routing of merchandise.
• Support inventory accuracy through routine checks and report discrepancies.
