Job summary

MCSA is seeking a professional to support proper employee medical care, treatment, and safe return to work by serving as an interface between workers, medical professionals, local hospitals, workers' compensation service agencies, and the organization.

Responsibilities include assisting with first aid, facilitating health management programs, accompanying employees to medical visits, documenting reports in CAIRS, coordinating with workers' compensation, and promoting reasonable accommodations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of related experience required.
• Experience in workers' compensation or occupational health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists with first aid and related services to employees or persons who become ill or injured at work facilities.
• Aids in the administration of health management programs such as workers' compensation and wellness programs.
• Accompanies employee to hospital/healthcare facilities when offsite care is needed.
• Prepares illness/accident/injury/incident reports as required.
• Notifies workers' compensation insurance carrier of potential or impending claims.
• Reviews medical evaluations/tests and communicates results to the worker.
