Job summary

MEM Insurance is seeking a Nurse Case Manager to support injured workers through coordination of medical plans and collaboration with providers, employers, and claims teams. This on-site regional role emphasizes proactive communication, advocacy, and ensuring safe return-to-work outcomes.

The role involves monitoring recovery, addressing barriers to rehabilitation, and maintaining meticulous case documentation while aligning with regulatory standards and company values.

Qualifications

• Active RN designation required.
• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience in Medical/Surgical settings.
• 5+ years of insurance or workers' compensation case management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage medical treatment plans for injured workers throughout the life of the claim.
• Serve as liaison among injured workers, healthcare providers, employers, therapists, and claims professionals to ensure effective communication and care coordination.
• Assess medical information and treatment progress to support recovery and safe return-to-work outcomes.
• Advocate for appropriate medical treatment and identify gaps or barriers within the workers' compensation system.
• Maintain accurate, timely case records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
