Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. is seeking a Return Dock Specialist to join our team in Texas. You'll focus on processing returned customer purchases, properly coding uncrated products, and ensuring procedures are followed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

The position requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to lift and move products. Evening and weekend availability is necessary to support the store’s high-volume returns operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months’ customer contact experience.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• Ability to lift/push/pull required weights.
• Operate scanning equipment preferred.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Verify all return orders during check-in.
• Examine product for defects.
• Process paperwork, tag products and assign status coding for returns.
• Wrap merchandise and note any arising problems on order.
• Move the product safely to its designated area.

Pay Range: $18.58 - 23.13 Hourly

The scheduled hours for the role are 2nd shift working from 1:00-10:00pm or 2:00-11:00pm requiring FULL WEEKEND AVAILABILITY!

• Accuracy: Process paperwork, tag products and assign status coding for returns
• Play Your Part: Wrap merchandise and properly note any arising problems on order
• Safety: Move the product to where it needs to go safely
