Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented associate to join the Delivery Preparation team on 2nd shift (1:00-10:00pm) with full weekend availability.

You will assemble and inspect products to ensure flawless delivery to customers in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Ideal candidates have 6 months of warehouse experience or related labor, basic hand tool skills, and a readiness to work night and weekend hours in a physically active role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• 6 months’ labor or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Safety-first handling of products to keep people and items safe.
• Use mechanical aids safely (flats, dollies, box cutters, power tools, etc.).
• Assemble product using hand tools and detailed instructions.
• Inspect work to ensure the product looks and works as if it were custom made for the home.

• Safety First Handling products so you are safe and the product is damage free
• Work Smarter, Not Harder Safely use mechanical aids (flats, dollys, box cutters, power tools, etc.)
• Set the Stage Assemble product using hand tools and detailed instructions
• Make it Flawless Inspect your work to ensure the product looks and works like it was custom made to fit in the home
