Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart in Kansas City is seeking a Return Dock Specialist to process returned customer purchases, code uncrated items, and ensure processes are followed. This full-time role supports safety and accuracy on the dock with a schedule of 12:00pm-8:30pm, Thursday through Monday.

Requirements include 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of customer contact experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months’ customer contact experience
• Positive, upbeat attitude
• Ability to lift/push/pull required weights
• Operate scanning equipment preferred
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Collaborate: Verify all return orders during check-in
• Inspect: Examine product for defects
• Accuracy: Process paperwork, tag products and assign status coding for returns
• Play Your Part: Wrap merchandise and properly note any arising problems on order
• Safety: Move the product to where it needs to go safely
