Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Return Dock Specialist to handle returned customer purchases, correctly code uncrated items, and ensure processes are followed to maintain inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction.

The role calls for attention to detail, reliable teamwork, and the ability to lift/move items safely. Schedule is 12:00pm-8:30pm Thursday–Monday with recognition of occasional shift variations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months' customer contact experience.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• Ability to lift/push/pull required weights.
• Operate scanning equipment preferred.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect: Examine product for defects
• Accuracy: Process paperwork, tag products and assign status coding for returns
• Play Your Part: Wrap merchandise and properly note any arising problems on order
• Safety: Move the product to where it needs to go safely
