Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in New York is seeking a Return Center Module Operator to verify and process returned merchandise. The role involves loading, unloading, stock staging, and operating powered equipment, with attention to accurate scanning and packaging.

The position offers evening shifts Monday through Thursday and partial Friday hours, with a pay rate of $21.45 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential, and a benefits package including medical coverage, PTO, a 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Material handling equipment certification preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open, verify and scan returned merchandise.
• Load, unload, move, stock and stage product with powered equipment.
• Ensure correct item in original packaging for scanning.
• Ensure scanned freight reaches its destination and is properly processed.
• Identify items needing special processing or separation.
• Observe safety and sanitation standards and perform duties as assigned.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Days/Hours: Monday-Thursday,4:30pm-12:30am, Friday 4:30pm- 12:15am

Pay: $21.45 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential

Role Purpose

Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations.

Key Accountabilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product using powered equipment.
• Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
• Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Material handling equipment certification, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred
