DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a First (1st) Shift Returns Processor. The role involves opens and verifies returned merchandise, scanning, and proper placement of freight. It requires standing, ability to work under pressure, and at least six months of warehouse experience with returns.

• Forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and verify returned merchandise.
• Scan merchandise and place freight in proper locations.
• Ensure correct item is in original packaging for scanning.
• Process freight using the scanning system accurately.
• Identify items requiring special processing or separation (hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensure scanned freight reaches destination (slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets safely and observe safety standards.

Role Purpose

Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations.

Key Accountabilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product. May require using powered equipment.
• Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
• Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Material handling equipment certification, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred
