Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems, located in Sterling Heights, seeks a Retrofit Coordinator in Project Management to oversee retrofit planning, data handling, and execution. You will maintain the Oracle-based Retrofit Database, process Retrofit Matrix reports, and prepare executive-level summaries.

The role requires collaboration with internal and external customers to meet program requirements, plus strong PM and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role desired.
• Ability to pass a U.S. Government Clearance check to obtain a CAC.
• Proficiency in Oracle and related computer systems.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment to meet objectives.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and provide updates.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task and manage workday efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external customers to meet retrofit program requirements.
• Process Retrofit Matrix reports to support retrofit program planning, showing requirements and inventory availabilities.
• Manage the Oracle-based Retrofit Database: create vehicle records, create tasks, update status, and provide reports.
• Process internal requisitions and retrofit sales orders for contracted retrofit activities.
• Create and administer Engineering Change Authorization Requests (ECARs) and manage DCMA sign-off.
• Research the Oracle Retrofit database to assist customers with program direction.
• Conduct excess inventory evaluations at part-number or warehouse level.
• Address customer requests outside the stated roles and responsibilities.
• Validate pricing of parts using Fedlog, WebFLIS, or I3 Log databases.
• Handle Call Forward requests to ship parts from Oracle via sales orders.
• Process orders and cancellations in the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).
• Provide requisition statuses for ordered parts.
