Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Project Manager, External Manufacturing & Retrofit Programs to lead end-to-end manufacturing initiatives with contract manufacturers and Retrofit partners. You will drive schedules, governance, and cross-functional execution from initiation through completion.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, and Asset Management to ensure readiness, ramp, and on-time delivery, while managing risks and providing clear program updates to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business required.
• 5+ years of Program or Project Management experience in manufacturing, automation, robotics, industrial equipment, or related industries.
• Experience with Contract Manufacturers and external suppliers; understanding manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects, schedules, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of manufacturing and retrofit programs across Contract Manufacturing partners.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing schedules, milestones, and deliverables across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, and Asset Management.
• Coordinate manufacturing readiness and ramp activities, monitoring KPIs, schedule adherence, and CM execution against program objectives.
• Identify program risks, constraints, and dependencies; maintain RAID logs and develop mitigation plans.
• Create and maintain executive dashboards, status reports, and steering committee materials for senior leadership.
• Develop scalable program management processes and governance frameworks, driving continuous improvement across manufacturing programs.
