Job summary

Busey is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant for Retirement Plan Services in Peoria, IL to support sales growth and service existing client relationships. You will partner with the sales team on proposals, perform analyses, and help position our solutions against competitors.

Responsibilities include onboarding new retirement plan business, preparing tailored presentations, responding to technical questions, coordinating with vendors, and staying current on industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical skills to interpret multiple data points.
• Knowledge of retirement plan regulations and industry trends.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years retirement plan service experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
• Experience with virtual meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Respond to proposal requests with discovery calls.
• Analyze prospective and current retirement plan clients; benchmark fees and services.
• Position solutions against competitors.
• Prepare tailored proposal presentations for sales team.
• Assist onboarding of new retirement plan business; manage compliance items and external vendors.
• Support existing relationships proactively and reactively.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders for client reviews.
• Communicate industry regulations and trends to clients.
