Job summary

Busey Retirement Plan Services in Illinois seeks an Internal Sales Consultant to support sales growth and service existing relationships within the team.

You will partner with the sales team on proposals, analyze data, benchmark fees and investments, and tailor presentations for prospects and clients. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and knowledge of retirement plan regulations.

Qualifications

• Robust oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills necessary to process and interpret multiple data points and present findings in writing.
• Retirement plan industry trends, regulations and rules.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to receive and respond to proposal requests from prospective clients.
• Research and examine information for prospective and current retirement plan clients and conduct comprehensive analyses, comparisons and benchmarking of fees, services and investments.
• Achieve a strong understanding of competitors and position our solutions effectively.
• Prepare and tailor proposal presentations for sales team based on final analysis.
• Respond to technical product and competitive positioning questions.
• Schedule and prepare comprehensive review materials for existing clients and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Assist with onboarding of new retirement plan business, including compliance items and external vendor management.
