Job summary

Alight is seeking a customer-centric retirement education specialist to handle inbound calls and provide financial education on complex retirement questions, investment and payment options for plan participants.

Ideal candidates have a financial background, enjoy educating others, and possess strong listening, communication and problem-solving skills; knowledge of Defined Contribution and/or Defined Benefit plans is essential.

Qualifications

FINRA SIE certification required or able to obtain
Defined Contribution or Qualified Plan experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities required
Excellent listening and communication skills required
Detail oriented with high accuracy and accountability
Able to work in a high-pressure, high-volume environment
Ability to ask probing questions and use data to guide customers

Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls and provide financial education.
Answer complex questions on investment and payment options for plan participants.
Guide on appropriate tools and services for participants.
Provide information on plan distributions, loans, and other rules.
Troubleshoot independently and develop practical solutions.
Process transactional support to plan participants.
Focus guidance on qualified and non-qualified retirement plan benefits.
