Job summary

The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a payroll/benefits analyst to analyze, prepare and perform specialized work related to compliance with CalSTRS and CalPERS reporting. Reporting duties include monitoring contributions for accuracy and performing complex accounting, auditing and reconciliation work for payroll and benefits within a 12-month calendar and 8-hour day schedule.

• Associate degree and 3 years of payroll/benefits/HR experience.
• Experience with retirement systems reporting (CalSTRS/CalPERS).
• Strong accounting, auditing and reconciliation duties related to payroll and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, prepare and perform complex work related to retirement systems reporting for CalSTRS and CalPERS.
• Monitor contributions reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform complex accounting, auditing and reconciliation duties related to payroll and benefits.
• Assist with other payroll and HR related tasks as assigned.
