Job summary

You will handle inquiries, process retirement forms, assist with planning and benefits options, maintain records, and support projects while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree/BA preferred.
• 2+ years of administrative, customer service, benefits administration, retirement services, or related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member and participant inquiries regarding retirement benefits, plan provisions, and coverage details.
• Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Review and process retirement-related forms, applications, and supporting documentation.
• Assist participants with retirement planning questions, benefit options, and plan provisions.
• Research and resolve discrepancies involving retirement plans by working with internal departments and external contacts.
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain forms, reports, correspondence, and participant communications.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support departmental administrative activities, including filing, data entry, and document management.
• Assist with benefit-related projects and special assignments as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive participant information.
