Job summary

Sparklight, a Cable One brand, seeks a Customer Care and Sales Advisor I to assist customers with billing questions, service scheduling, and product guidance. You will listen empathetically, build trust, and suggest solutions that fit customer needs.

As you grow, you’ll handle more complex issues, retain at-risk customers, and upsell services while inputting orders accurately and following approved scripts. This is a blended service-and-sales role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to ask questions to identify solutions that fit customer needs
• Patience and professionalism in all customer interactions
• Working knowledge of Cable One products and services
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Ability to stay composed in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone or ticketing systems
• Provide billing and pricing information
• Schedule service appointments when remote resolution isn’t possible
• Resolve standard issues and educate customers on resolution steps
• Retain customers considering disconnect and upsell services
• Input orders accurately and follow scripts for consistency
• Assist with special projects as assigned
