Ollie’s in Kentucky seeks a Retail Zone Team Leader to guide a merchandised zone on the sales floor, ensuring excellent customer and associate experiences. You will oversee merchandising, staff scheduling, and daily operations to maintain stock and storefront standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability to evenings/weekends/holidays, and a proactive, gritty approach to leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute established procedures for the assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.
• Ensure that store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
• Oversee process to ensure that merchandise is planned for and received, and that the sales floor is properly stocked.
• Ensure proper scheduling and staffing for effective unload/processing of merchandise to the sales floor while driving associate productivity, daily task assignment and customer service standards.
• Supervise associates within the assigned zone, communicate company directives to ensure follow-up is completed.
• Perform all Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
