Job summary

IKEA in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker (Full-Time) to contribute to the fulfillment of customer orders across channels, ensuring product availability and replenishment. You will handle inbound goods, stock, and pick items to support a seamless customer experience.

You will also operate forklifts, scanners and inventory tools, and assist with the efficient flow of goods in a dynamic retail environment, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Warehouse experience or retail fulfillment preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving inbound goods and ensuring inventory accuracy at receiving.
  • Moving product to final selling location in storage or on the floor.
  • Performing replenishment with flexibility per visual guidelines.
  • Selecting goods for customers within the required time frame.
  • Certifying powered equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in/out, picking, loading.
  • Operating scanners and inventory management tools/IT systems.
  • Contributing to an IKEA culture that values diversity among coworkers and customers.

What you'll be doing day to day

Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.

  • Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
  • Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
  • Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
  • Selecting goods for customers, within the agreed time frame, to secure an excellent customer experience.
  • Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
  • Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems.
  • Contributing to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

JOB TYPE - Permanent, Full-Time, Hourly Associate, 18+
HOURS - From 34-40 hours per week (HL3) // Benefits Eligible
SHIFTS This role is in a retail environment, so evening and weekend availability will be required to support store operations and our customers.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 19.96 USD to 22.95 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
