Job summary

IKEA Schaumburg is hiring an hourly associate for a part-time warehouse role. You will help fulfill customer orders across channels, ensure product availability, and support replenishment.

You will handle inbound goods, stock in and out, navigate scanners, and certify forklifts and pallet jacks. Weekend shifts are common; starting pay ranges from 19.96 USD to 22.95 USD per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to perform physical tasks.
• Experience with inventory accuracy and stock replenishment desired.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to fulfilling customer orders across channels with accurate stock.
• Receive inbound goods and maintain inventory accuracy at receipt.
• Move products to storage or floor locations; perform replenishment per guidance.
• Select goods for customers within set timeframes to ensure great service.
• Certify powered equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Handle goods through unloading, transportation, stocking, picking and loading.
• Operate scanners and inventory IT systems to track items.
• Support IKEA culture and collaboration across teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.

• Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Selecting goods for customers, within the agreed time frame, to secure an excellent customer experience.
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems.
• Contributing to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

JOB TYPE – Permanent, Part-time, Hourly Associate, 18+

HOURS – From 12 to 19 hours per week (HL1) // Limited Benefits

SHIFTS– Seeking work schedule availability of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday as a minimum requirement. Work schedules are published one month in advance.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 19.96 USD to 22.95 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
