Job summary

IKEA Merriam in Kansas is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to support order fulfillment and inventory accuracy across store channels. You will receive goods, replenish shelves, pick and prepare customer orders, and operate scanners and powered equipment.

This role requires physical stamina, forklift certification preferred, and the ability to work nights and weekends in a friendly, team-driven environment. Benefits are offered with regular co-worker support and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment. Requirements
• Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (up to 50lbs)
• Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Pick and preparing customer orders within the agreed timeframe to secure an excellent customer experience.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks

JOB TYPE: Permanent –Part-Time (limited benefits)

HOURS: 12–19 hrs/week (PT) — limited openings for each

SHIFT: Retail Environment; must be able to work nights & weekends.

The pay range for this role is $19.96 to $25.45
