IKEA USA is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate in Portland, OR to support fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and replenishment. Responsibilities include receiving, moving stock, and assisting customers with order picking in a retail setting.

The role is 20-32 hours per week, including nights and weekends, with an hourly pay range of $21.93 - $30.98. Benefits and background checks are noted for eligible co-workers.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
• Certification in one power mobile equipment preferred.
• Physical demands: lifting, pushing/pulling, sliding, carrying up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to fulfillment of customer orders across sales channels.
• Receive inbound goods and verify inventory accuracy at receipt.
• Move products to storage or showroom floors as needed.
• Perform replenishment following visual merchandising guidance.
• Assist customers by selecting goods within timeframes.
• Certify powered equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Handle goods through unloading, transporting, stocking, and picking.
• Operate scanners and inventory management IT systems.

What you'll be doing day to day

Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.

• Receiving inbound goods and ensuring inventory accuracy at the point of receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Selecting goods for customers, within the agreed time frame, to secure an excellent customer experience.
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools, including IT systems.
• Contributing to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
