Job summary

Johnson Brothers is seeking a Sales Consultant to service retail stores. The role involves managing a sales territory, selling, merchandising, servicing customers, and handling administration with up-to-date accounts receivable.

Responsibilities include territory management, product knowledge, presentations, merchandising, and accurate paperwork. Local candidates preferred; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or related industry experience.
• Prior route sales experience (highly preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Goals and results driven.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).

Responsibilities

• Territory Management: Ensure consistent customer contact and plan/execute sales initiatives; promptly address customer issues.
• Selling: Understand products/pricing, deliver effective presentations, achieve company objectives, grow business, identify new accounts.
• Merchandising: Use POS to enhance selling; manage display size/location, shelf position, and standards.
• Servicing: Conduct proper sales calls, perform inventory checks, minimize order mistakes, rotate products on shelves.
• Administration: Follow company policies and complete paperwork properly and timely.
