Job summary

ALDI USA store is seeking a full-time Store Associate in Carrollton, AL. You will merchandise, stock, cashier, and perform cleaning to maintain an appealing store environment. Expect 30+ hours weekly with starting wage of $18.00 per hour and scheduled raises over five years.

Responsibilities include operating POS, processing purchases, adhering to cash policies, maintaining shelves, and supporting curbside pickup while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate cash registers and related store equipment.
• Ability to follow ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS system to scan and process customer purchases accurately; reports scanning issues.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout when needed.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and ensures timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Supports store management in achieving operational efficiency and loss reduction goals.
• Complies with all company policies and processes.
• Identifies and rectifies hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
