Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate to merchandise, stock, cashier, and maintain the store’s appearance while delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time role includes average hours of 30+ per week and a starting wage of $20.50 per hour with annual increases through Year 5.

Responsibilities include operating the POS system, handling cash, stocking shelves, supporting curbside orders, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards across the store.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate POS system to process purchases accurately.
• Stock shelves and follow merchandising plans to maximize sales.
• Assist curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Adhere to company policies and loss-prevention procedures.
