Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Associate to help merchandise, stock, cashier, and keep the store clean while delivering friendly service. You will work with the ALDI team to enhance the customer shopping experience and assist with curbside pickup orders.

We offer full-time hours (~30+ per week) with starting pay of $19/hour and yearly raises through Year 5. This role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to follow ALDI policies in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service is required.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Basic arithmetic skills for transactions.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses the POS system to accurately scan and process customer purchases and reports scanning issues to management.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly according to merchandising planograms.
