ALDI USA is hiring a Store Associate to merchandise, stock products, cashier, and keep the store clean, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will work as part of the ALDI team to deliver fast, friendly service and maintain store standards.

The role is full-time with average 30+ hours per week, starting at $20.00 per hour with scheduled increases in Year 2–5. Benefits are offered to eligible employees and equal opportunity employment applies.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers
• Interpreting ALDI operating policies and procedures
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Follow instructions and pay attention to detail
• Work independently and with others
• Maintain reliable attendance and meet availability requirements

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products
• Uses POS system to accurately scan and process purchases; reports scanning concerns
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures
• Opens additional check lanes as required for efficient checkout
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and timely
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times
• Assists management in achieving operational efficiency and loss-reduction goals
• Complies with company policies and maintains a safe work environment
• Adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards
