Meijer in Michigan is seeking a store leader to plan, direct, and supervise daily operations across departments. You will mentor team members, drive customer service, and ensure store standards while focusing on prime shopping hours and product presentation.

You will staff and hire to meet needs, promote development, manage P&L, and protect shrink. The role requires communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to lead teams toward sales goals and safe, efficient service.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly to team members.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root causes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning by providing career paths and development needs for team members.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions and make recommendations concerning discharge.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed sales goals and maintain Meijer standards.
• Ensure adequate training and thorough understanding of all job aspects.
