Job summary

You will be responsible for staffing, selection, and development paths, with accountability for promotions and disciplinary actions. Strong leadership, financial acumen, and safety focus are essential to sustain growth and a positive company image.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Experience with staffing, hiring and development planning.
• Ability to analyze financial information and use it for decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and handle conflict.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day to day operations.
• Mentors and coaches team to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Ensure staffing, selection and training per company standards.
• Maintain P&L, drive sales and manage shrink.
• Promote safety and Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings and actions.
