Job summary

Elder's in the community delivers best-in-class customer service and keeps the store well-stocked, neat, and clean for a superior experience. The Team Leader performs essential tasks to ensure store success, opens/closes, and supports staff during busy periods.

Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience is required; forklift operation may be needed. Availability for one weekend day and 1–2 evenings per week is expected. Physical duties include standing, lifting, and occasional forklift use.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail supervisory experience.
• Ability to operate forklift as needed.
• Open/close shifts and manage daily tasks.
• Strong leadership and staff coaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary leadership on the sales floor with focus on customer service.
• Open and close the store; ensure four duty lists are completed and freight is managed.
• Keep at least one department at an exceptional standard and supervise staff.
• Train staff and enforce the company training principles as needed.
• Assist in tasks to ensure the store’s overall success and productivity.
