Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli).
• Strong communication and ability to direct teams.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information.
• Proven track record in coaching and mentoring employees.
• Commitment to safety and a reliable attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach staff to meet service and sales goals.
• Improve customer service and store presentation while controlling shrink.
• Staffing and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote internal career growth and promotions.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain safe work environment and Meijer standards.
• Ensure training completion and effective communication with customers.
