Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Key Holder to lead in-store service and selling excellence, partnering with store leadership to drive sales and operations. You will become an expert on product categories, communicate detailed features and benefits to customers, and help maintain merchandising standards and store cleanliness.

You will also focus on achieving store metrics, managing transactions at the POS, and supporting the team through coaching and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales and customer service.
• Ability to operate POS system and process transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of merchandising standards and store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed customer expectations.
• Become an expert in product categories; communicate features and benefits.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals (UPT, ADT, add-ons, data capture).
• Stay informed on current promotions and advertisements.
• Support floor moves, displays, merchandising, and housekeeping.
• Assist with inventory and replenishment of floor stock.
• Complete transactions accurately and maintain cash/media accountability at POS.
• Partner with leadership to develop store team skills and performance.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and adhere to Time & Attendance policy.
• Comply with all laws and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate high quality work, attendance, and appearance.
