Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in the United States is seeking a Team Leader to coach Sales Associates, drive customer experience, and optimize store performance. You will lead by example, coach in the moment, and support recruitment and onboarding while upholding Primark standards.

You will work with store management to keep displays engaging, manage daily tasks, monitor pricing, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

• Strong service focus with experience of delivering excellent customer experience while maintaining high store standards.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of local selling patterns.
• Ability to guide and support a team to achieve results.
• Nimble and adaptable, able to adjust plans in a fast-paced environment.
• Good planning and organizational skills, prioritizing and meeting timescales.
• Experience protecting store assets and handling responsibilities as a keyholder including emergency call-outs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with managers, supervisors, and hourly colleagues to provide instruction and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and coach Sales Associates to provide an exceptional store environment and customer experience, while optimizing sales.
• Lead a team with in-the-moment coaching and training on Primark ways of working with ongoing feedback.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of Sales Associates while promoting continuous learning.
• Collaborate with store management to run the store and develop a high performing team.
• Manage pricing, displays, stock, and customer feedback to meet demand and store standards.
