Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Danbury, CT to lead a dynamic retail team. You will drive sales, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain store standards with a hands-on leadership approach.

This role requires coordinating staffing, training, and policy adherence while delivering a positive shopping experience. As part of the team, you will manage operations, assist in inventory control, and support visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead and train store associates using LIDS Training Programs and goal setting.
• Enforce company policies, dress code, and guidelines; ensure a respectful team environment.
• Execute store operations, cash handling, and inventory controls.
• Support merchandising, price changes, and storefront presentation to drive sales.
