Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Montville, CT location. You will lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service while mentoring a team of associates in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will schedule staff, uphold brand standards, and implement company policies to ensure store performance and customer satisfaction. This role offers part-time hours and growth opportunities within the Lids network.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsabilités

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead store associates through training, goal setting, and regular follow up.
• Discipline steps to address performance and maintain store standards.
• Foster a fun, productive, inclusive team environment and align with brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including coverage for peaks when needed.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safeguard inventory, funds and property.
• Open and close the store following operational procedures.
