Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Spokane Valley to lead daily store operations and customer service excellence. As the largest licensed sports retailer in North America, Lids offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on team engagement and sales performance.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage in a retail setting with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues or customer complaints when Store Manager isn’t present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings when the Store Manager is absent.
• Engage team members to create a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, dress code, and policy compliance.
• Schedule and staff the store, including covering shifts as needed.
• Participate in training programs and support recruitment and onboarding of personnel.
• Support policy adherence and safeguard company inventory and cash.
