Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a Randburg retail location. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, supervise staff, manage inventory, and uphold top-tier customer service to drive sales.

The role requires a background in retail supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, familiarity with POS systems and inventory software, and flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Previous retail supervisory or assistant management experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales techniques, and customer service principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and staff management.
• Assist in training, coaching, and motivating the sales team to meet performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock receiving, accurate record-keeping, and loss prevention.
• Provide excellent customer service, handle inquiries, and resolve complaints effectively.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized store environment in Randburg.
