Placements24 is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Paarl retail hub's daily operations alongside the Store Manager. You will supervise staff, drive sales initiatives, and uphold high customer service and safety standards.

The role requires experience in retail supervision, strong leadership, and familiarity with POS systems. A flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends is expected to support a hybrid operation.

Qualifications

Experience in a retail supervisory or management role.
Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales, inventory, and customer service.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency with retail management software and POS systems.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including staff supervision and performance monitoring.
Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
Assist in inventory management, including stock receiving and accuracy checks in Paarl.
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries or issues.
